The Stroblhof winery has a long tradition. Our ancestors recognised the great potential of the soil at the foot of Mt. Mendel centuries ago. Generation after generation, we have exploited that potential for our grape growing and wine production. It is our heritage, and we are proud to uphold it.
Strahler is a historical Pinot blanc that brings to the glass the very soul of Stroblhof. This wine looks back across 200 years of history, and has found its rightful place among contemporary fine wines. Our passion for Pinot blanc also led us to explore Chardonnay. The result is an expressive white wine with a promising future. Our Sauvignon stands out thanks to its aromatic profile, but all our white wines are characterised by a clearly recognisable style in terms of minerality, acidity and fruity sweetness.
The Stroblhof vineyards are perfectly located for Pinot noir grapes to thrive. Perhaps this is why, over the years, we have developed a real passion for this elegant grape variety – a passion that concretised into two wines of different categories. While Pigeno Pinot noir is full of character and very enjoyable to drink, it is our Riserva that exploits the full potential of Pinot noir. Made from grapes grown on older vines, it is a wine of great elegance and good cellaring potential. Our red wine range is rounded off by Cabernet Franc – Merlot Valbion, a strong cuvée with a lot of character.
